Welcome to the RCB Library Online Booking System.
From December 2023, the Library’s archive collection will be available to consult on all weekdays, Monday-Friday. Walk-in visits can be accommodated, but to ensure you have a seat, it is advised to book a slot in advance.
You can reserve a slot (10am-4.15pm) on any weekday, or you can book multiple slots to cover a period of days, Monday- Friday, inclusive.
The library closes for lunch from 12.30pm until 1.30pm.
Before accessing the Reading Room, visitors must confirm they have read the Regulations for Readers of Archives and Manuscripts. Note that you will be required to sign these in person when you visit the Library.
Your reservation may include up to five booked items in advance. Instructions on how to order are available here. When you click below to reserve your desk, a pop-up box will appear requiring you to confirm your details such as name, email, phone number. The 'quantity' refers to the desk you are reserving it is automatically filled by the system, so you should leave this at '1'.
